Tommy Lynch was a New Zealander rugby league footballer. An international centre for Other Nations, he played for English club Halifax from 1951 to 1956. He made 188 appearances for Halifax, scoring 112 tries and nine goals. He was a member of the 1953–54 Challenge Cup squads. He played in another Challenge Cup final in 1956 but returned home to New Zealand after that. He died at his home in South Canterbury, New Zealand, on 28 December 2006, aged 79.

Lynch won four caps for Other Nations while at Halifax.
Lynch played Centre in Halifax's 4-all draw with Warrington in the 1539–54 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on 1 May 1954, the 4-18 defeat in the 1953–54 Challenge Cup final replay at Odsal Stadium, Bradford on 5 May 1954 in front of a 102,569+ crowd, and the 2-13 defeat to St. Helens in the 1955–56 Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium on 3 May 1956.
Lynch's Testimonial match at Halifax took place in 1956. He is a Halifax Hall Of Fame Inductee.[1]
